The Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA) has been applied within a decision support system developed according to a risk management framework, since it possesses features such as process reiterativety, capability of comparing and prioritizing different risks, and finally capability of merging scientific issues and management needs in the choice of the assessment endpoints.
