| Abstract |
|
The scope of our research is that of studying the relationship between water – by which we mean resurfacing humidity or recurrent flooding tide – and the possible alterated behaviour of the historical structures. In this first research stage the wall faces are privileged as a structural element, in particular the relationships which might arise between the parameters characteristic of water and salts content and the mechanic features of the walls, giving also indication on the effectiveness of restoration techniques.
